WESTFIELD Decorate your bike, wheelbarrow, wagon or yourself for the June 17 second annual Westfield in Motion Parade, sponsored by Westfield on Weekends Inc.

Parade participants are asked to register by 3:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the First United Methodist Church so that the parade can start promptly at 4 p.m., according to Jennifer M. Andrews, Westfield on Weekends Event Coordinator.

At 4 p.m., participants will march down Broad Street to the Westfield South Middle School where a 1890's-style baseball game is planned featuring the Westfield Wheelmen and the Pittsfield Elms. The public is encouraged to bring a picnic to enjoy during the game and everyone is asked to park in the school lot on West Silver Street. Security will be provided for persons who wish to set up their picnic area near the ball field prior to viewing the parade.

In the event of rain, the parade will be canceled.

For more information about this free event, or to register prior to June 17, call Andrews at (413) 562-2277 or Kate at (413) 568-7476.
