Minnechaug Scholarship Foundation to host Triple Pasta Dinner

The Minnechaug Scholarship Foundation Committee will host its third annual Triple Pasta Dinner at La Cucina at the Hampden House on Nov. 2 from 6 to 8 p.m. This great evening of family fun will feature a 50/50 raffle and celebrity waiters from the district's School Department.

The celebrity waiters this year are Judge Bob Howarth , Wilbraham Selectmen Jim Thompson and Pat Brady, Former Superintendent Dr. Paul Gagliaducci, Superintendent Marty O'Shea, Acting Principal of Minnechaug Tim Connor, Wilbraham Middle School Principal Steve Hale and Ed Cenedella.

The dinner features a choice of three different pastas and three sauces, salad, rolls and dessert. Proceeds from the dinner will be used to provide scholarships to students entering college next fall. Ticket prices are $15 per person.

Ann Marie Bonsall, President of the Minnechaug Scholarship Foundation, stated, "The overwhelming success of the Pasta Dinner over the past two years is due to a great dinner at a great value. The fundraiser also has given the foundation more exposure throughout the community. The foundation has a 50-year tradition of granting scholarships to deserving high school seniors from Hampden and Wilbraham."

The Minnechaug Scholarship Foundation is a charitable trust founded in 1960 that encourages and enables students to continue their education beyond high school. The foundation raises funds and distributes financial aid to high school graduates who reside in Hampden or Wilbraham. Last year the foundation awarded $34,200 to 48 college bound students. The foundation also serves as the administrator for other organizations and individuals that sponsor scholarships.
