Performing arts summer program for children in Wilbraham begins

Date: 6/15/2009

Performing Arts Programs Inc., a provider of performing arts instruction, is coming again to Wilbraham. The Wilbraham Parks and Recreation Department will sponsor a new and exciting summer performing arts program July 6 through 10 at Soule Road School.

Michael Lamb, founder and executive director, created Performing Arts Programs Inc. over 12 years ago in response to a tremendous need for high-quality performing arts instruction in New England. "Since its inception, the program has catered to thousands of young people. We are dedicated to creating a safe and affirming environment to cultivate each participant's own unique creativity. Even though we have the experience and knowledge to help the more advanced student, our true passion is to help and instruct the beginner. We love to help children develop their skills and gain confidence," Lamb said.

Students get the benefit of working with teaching artists who are highly-qualified to instruct students of all different skill levels. The program is progressive, challenging and a lot of fun. It is open to area children six to 14 years old.
