WILBRAHAM The Hampden-Wilbraham Regional School District is bracing for the June 2009 departure of Superintendent of Schools Paul C. Gagliarducci.
They are enlisting the help of the Massachusetts Association of School Committees, and School Committee Chair Scott Chapman will appoint a Search Committee.
"We were all very emotional and he received a long standing ovation," Chapman said of Gagliarducci at the Jan. 13 School Committee meeting.
He informed The Reminder that the School Committee is leaning toward a regional, rather than a national, search.
Talks on the upcoming superintendent search will resume Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. at Soule Road Elementary School.
