Wilbraham P.D. offers r.a.d. Kids program

WILBRAHAM The Wilbraham Police Department is once again offering its r.a.d. Kids safety education program, beginning Aug. 15 for kids ages eight through 12. The program provides children with foundational, realistic, life saving options to help them recognize, avoid, resist and if necessary escape abduction. The class schedule is as follows: Aug. 15-19 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the Scantic Valley YMCA, 85 Post office Park. The cost is $20 per student; any questions contact Officer Mark Paradis or Officer Peter Laviolette (8 a.m.-4 p.m. at 596-3838). Class size is limited to 10-15 students and fills up quick, so register your child as soon as possible at the YMCA, 596-2749. To date over 100 children have participated in this program.
