AGAWAM The Teen Ensemble Theatre will present "Ducktales & Bobbysox", a 50's rock & roll musical, at The Red Door Theatre, 152 S. Westfield St., Feeding Hills, MA on June 23 & 24 @ 7:30 p.m. and June 25 @ 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 adult and $8 senior or student. Fifties rock 'n' roll star Curtis Jackson pays a surprise visit to the small town of Victor where he encounters a host of hilarious characters and madcap happenings: an all-state football hero who is kidnapped before the big game, an empty-headed waitress of the local malt shop, a charmingly clumsy couple who find love in the stars, and a trio of cheerleaders who break into a cheer at every opportunity. And to top it all off, hilarious impersonations of "famous fifties" rock stars. This show contains a powerhouse collection of original rock 'n' roll songs: "Elvis, Buddy and Me", "Bobby Sock Hop", "Homecoming Rock" plus many more. Southwick Teens Aric & Bryan Austermann and Nicco Palazzi take on the roles of Felix the "hot rodder", Wilbur the nerd and Plotsky the gang lackey respectively. Westfield Teens Sarah Dion and Dan Emoo take on the roles of motorcycle gang members Babs and Tony. Brianna Couture of Springfield plays Bertha, the nerd. Kevin Jones of E. Granby, CT plays rock star Curtis Jackson.
