AJWC works to collect items for a variety of organizations

AGAWAM Every month, the Agawam Junior Women's Club (AJWC) members work to collect various items to recycle, reuse and donate. The Juniors collected, sorted, and donated the following to our schools and libraries:

can flip tops for The Shriner's Hospital

magazines for the Senior Center and local nursing homes

collection of school supplies shipped to the Terrabone Parrish Public Schools in Houma, LA

The AJWC is always looking for new members to continue their volunteer efforts. Interested women are encouraged to attend a monthly meeting, held on the third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m., at the Captain Charles Leonard House, Main Street, Agawam. The AJWC is a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs of Massachusetts, Junior Membership. The GFWC is an international women's organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through community service.
