Kate Leary-Gourde, shopkeeper for Cooper's in Agawam, donated new Vera Bradley bags to the Agawam High School Cheerleaders when they visited the store last Thursday. The new design sports the high school's colors brown and orange. Each cheerleader received a wristlet, which normally retails for $21. She said she chose the cheerleaders as recipients because they "are good ambassadors of school spirit and as a local business owner, she supports the school system." Leary-Gourde is seen at the far right with the cheerleaders.
