Calling all Robin Hoods and Robyn Hoods

AGAWAM The Agawam Bowmen Club, located at Route 57 near Agawam/Southwick Line, includes a 3-D Archery Shoot and invites the public to a shoot on Aug. 6 with registration open 7:30 a.m. to noon.

"There are over 30 targets on wooded walking trail," Tom Dussault, member of the Bowmen said, "Many classes to choose from and spectators are welcome".

There will be an archery equipment tag sale at the event, so

the public is encouraged to bring items for sale. The kitchen is open during the event.

The club offers affordable family outdoor experiences and camping is allowed Dussault said.

Outdoor experiences include hiking, Mountain biking trails. The club offers four big shoots a year that are open to the public, with other club events.

"We have had training classes on making archery equipment, GPS use, and bow hunter education, pot luck campfire gathering..we have had live bands and pig roast...We have had some great times," said Dussault.
