Library to have a Chocolate Festival

AGAWAM The Public Library on Cooper Street will be presenting a Chocolate Festival tomorrow night from 6:30-8:p.m. where students entering grades seven through 12 and participating in the Summer Reading Program, can enjoy, melt, mold and chill white or dark chocolate.

Tween and teens are invited to join the Summer Reading Program by signing up in person or on the phone, the library number is 789-1550 ext.4 and then picking up their reading card at the library.

Participants in this program will enjoy raffles with weekly prizes of gift certificates to the mall and the Grand Prize being a $100 gift certificate to the mall and will be awarded at the final drawing. Extra raffle tickets can be earned.

An Agawam Jr. High incentive that the library is offering is for students to complete one BINGO sheet at the library and receive one A+ English test grade and ten points toward Accelerated Reader for Reading Classes.

Other activites in this program will include Dance Dance Revolution Tournament and Karaoke Revolution, Yoga Workshop, Teen Movie Night, Illustration/Cartooning Workshop, Scrapbooking, Book Chat-N-Snack and Games Night.
