AGAWAM Beverly Secondo is currently displaying her personally designed handcrafted jewelry at the Public Library this month.

Secondo has been designing jewelry as part of her life since 1996. It came to her after attending a craft show in London, England, where she discovered the medium of polymer clay.

"I am inspired by color, shape and texture and I love designing wearable art for people," Secondo said.

Secondo incorporates gemstones from around the world in her jewelry, including turquoise, jasper, amethyst and tiger eye.

She owned a stained glass studio previous to her jewelry design and created the Agawam Town Seal through a grant from the Agawam Cultural Council (ACC).

The Seal can be seen adorning the Library at the front and towards the roof.
