AGAWAM Memorial Day is just around the corner and many things will be happening in Agawam that weekend. The following are the events in order: Sunday, May 29 10:45 a.m. Bethany Assembly Of God will be hosting the services for our veterans and families. All are welcome to attend. Monday, May 30 Ceremonies will be held in the following locations. 7:15 a.m. World War I Memorial- Located directly in front of the American Legion Post 185 on Springfield Street. 8 a.m. Springfield Street Cemetery, across from Sacred Heart Church 8:15 a.m. Granger School, Feeding Hills Center, mustering field on the green. 8:30 a.m. South Westfield Street Cemetery, across from Shoemaker Lane. 9 a.m. Agawam Center Cemetery, across from St. John's Church. 10 a.m. Parade line up at Southworth Paper Co. Parking lot. 10:30 a.m. Fly over on Main Street, Parade steps off. Ceremony will follow on the Green at the end of the parade route. 1 p.m. Ceremony at The State Veterans Cemetery. Come one come all.
