SPRINGFIELD - Mayor Domenic Sarno, City Councilors Justin Hurst, Jesse Lederman and Victor Davila and state Sen. Eric Lesser gathered along with local youth groups in Court Square to celebrate the city’s annual menorah lighting in celebration of Hanukkah on Dec. 19. The menorah lighting has been an annual tradition in the city for over 40 years. Each speaker stressed the importance of unity, understanding and cultural pride during the holiday season.
