Get involved and serve your town

Date: 9/12/2014

With all of the unrest and demonstrations in other countries, lets make sure that our country does not end up with their problems, where they complain and have very disruptive demonstrations, because they have no voice or input in government. Help make our cities and towns function in harmony by getting involved in the government process.

Most of our cities and towns are great places in which to live because boards and commissions are involved with the town’s well-being and those serving on the city’s boards and commissions play a vital role in helping to make good government work.

There is much need for people with input or concern to be involved in these commissions in order to make our communities much safer and livable.

Cities and towns can always use more dedicated people who are willing to serve in order to cover all the bases and function more efficiently. Some municipalities do not have enough people to fulfill the required positions on their boards and commissions and they could use your help.

Let your mayor or selectmen know that you are willing to serve on a city board or a commission. Get involved – your unbiased, dedicated input is needed to help make our cities, our towns and our country continue to be great places where one wants to live.
