Help the Boy Scouts

Date: 2/6/2012

We are Boy Scout Troop 275 in East Longmeadow. We have 29 Boy Scouts and store our camping equipment in a wooden shed behind the church that we meet at every Thursday night. The shed has seen its better days and insects, moisture and rodents are getting into our equipment.

We looked into replacing the shed and found that the cost would be the same as purchasing a trailer, which would protect our equipment better and a the same time save us from loading and unloading cars and trucks every time we go on a trip.

Our problem, unfortunately, is our troop doesn’t have the money to spend on a new shed or trailer. So I was hoping that someone with a good heart, could donate an older used or even dented trailer to the troop. All we need is a 6 by 12 Enclosed Trailer that a pick-up truck or van could pull. We have three levels of donations.

If you have a similar trailer that you cannot sell or would like to get off your lot, please keep us in mind. It would have a significant positive affect on our troop for a very long time and it would be greatly appreciated.
