Library defaced

A deplorable incident occurred at Chicopee's new Library last week. Late Thursday evening someone defaced the wall and toilet stall in the ladies room.

The staff and patrons were heartbroken to discover the graffiti.

I hope that whoever found it necessary to make their statement on public property is apprehended, prosecuted, fined and required to pay for the clean up.

Chicopee has this wonderful, free facility for people to use for anything they need or want to attend; and this person wrote their graffiti on the ladies room wall!

I wonder what goes on in the mind of a person as one is defacing public property. Does it bring them satisfaction? What's going on in their defective psyche? Isn't there another more effective way to make a statement? Are they afraid to verbalize it to the person to whom it was intended?

Do you deface your own property?

How would you feel if someone defaced your personal property?

Are you proud of yourself?

Do you think your parents are proud of you for what you did?

How about your friends? Do you think they're proud of you and think highly of you because of what you did? What were you thinking? I can't imagine!
