Library program a success

Date: 8/26/2011

I would like to let the public know that The South Hadley Public Library’s First Adult Summer Reading Program “Novel Destinations” was a rousing success! There were more than 410 library patrons who participated. Congratulations to all of those who won the prizes donated by local businesses. Thank you to the Gaylord Library for also working with us in creating a town wide Adult Summer Reading Program.

I would like to offer a sincere thanks to the following businesses for their donations and enthusiasm: Big Y: World Class Markets, Carey’s Flowers, Class Grass, El Guanaco Restaurant, Food 101 Restaurant, Friends of the South Hadley Public Library, Gaylord Library Apple Basket and Scarf and Earring Set Donation, Jania’s Polish Pottery, Lisa Lanno, Mandarin Gourmet Restaurant, Parthenon Restaurant, Rocky’s Ace Hardware and Tower Theatres.

I would like to especially thank the Egg and I for creating a welcome gift for each participant.

I am truly amazed with the support given by the businesses and speakers to the program and am thankful to them and the participants for making this program a wonderful success.

Thank you!
