Power to the people

The Constitution of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts has a process that allows the citizens through the Initiative Petition to have a say in their government. When you have judges bent on making laws from the bench and legislators rendered useless to the people by pressure and promises from special interest groups, thank heavens for such a process.

I don't care what Governor Patrick, the judiciary or the legislators thank about "gay marriage." Frankly speaking I don't care if a gay person wants to say they are "married" to their grandfather. I do care very much that politicians whose handsome salaries and benefits I am providing are denying me the right to govern as provided by the Constitution where they have failed.

If as Governor Patrick says taking care of the issue of a vote on the Marriage Amendment will bring our legislators to their knees and keep them from taking care of the business of the Commonwealth then let them get up off their knees and get those fragile knees out the door to find another job.
