Sewing Services for Rays of Hope

My name is Joanne Zemanck and I am a resident of East Longmeadow. My B.S. degree is in Clothing and Textiles with a concentration in Clothing Design. Currently "retired," I worked for the Army in functional clothing design for 11 years.

In an effort to raise money for the Rays of Hope Walk for Breast Cancer on Oct. 28, I am willing to perform sewing services in exchange for reasonable donations. Some of the possibilities could include seam repairs, button replacements, patching, mending, making simple window valances, easy Halloween costumes, etc. You supply the materials, I supply the talent. If any of these or other projects could assist you for a very worthwhile cause (or if you simply want to make a donation) please contact me at 827-7055 between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m.

All donations through the month of November will be sent directly to the Rays of Hope. If you want to make direct donations, checks can be made to the Rays of Hope and mailed to Baystate Health Foundations Rays of Hope, P.O. Box 5141, Springfield, MA 01101.
