| I want to thank everyone who attended the Agawam Cultural Council sponsored March 30th 2008 Foreign Film Festival movie of "La Vie en Rose" held at the Agawam Family Cinemas. The people mingled in the lobby, enjoying the hors d'oeuvres, the desserts, and conversations with their friends and members of the Agawam Cultural Council. This went on for three-quarters of an hour. Then, before the film started there was a free raffle of four items. As the people left I thanked each and every person for coming, and asked them to join us again at the next film presentation of "La Cage aux Folles" on April 6th. Many people left with tears in their eyes, and said how wonderful the movie was. On the whole what I heard was that it was a wonderful day provided by the Cultural Council. 90 people came from many different towns in the area to attend. I wish to thank Donna Fitzgerald, Sylvia Deliso, Florida Tangocci, Barbara Cohen, Jane Eitel, Jay & Kitty Berger, Walter Mantani, Todd & Clark Kadis, and Sal Anzalotti for their enormous help in making today's foreign film event a resounding success.
