They had anti-union/labor agenda from the start

Springfield's Finance Control Board, Mitt Romney's appointees, had an anti-union/labor agenda from the start. They began trying to nullify all union contracts but lost in the courts.

They switched to Cigna Health Care, saving over $4 million a year, paid for by the employees and retirees. They next forced all elderly workers and retirees into Medicare B, again saving at the expense of workers and retirees.

In January, they will end the Springfield Med program which saved its people from steep prescription costs. This will be devastating to the elderly.

They will soon put everyone into the state medical program. This will surely impact its people again.

The Mayor and the Control Board can surely say, "Mission accomplished and agenda near completion."
