Golf Tournament

Golf Tournament set for June 9

The 17th annual Western Mass. Golf Tournament to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will be held June 9 at the Oak Ridge Golf Club, Feeding Hills.

This tournament to benefit Cystic Fibrosis Foundation began in 1990 as a means to raise funds to battle cystic fibrosis.

CF affects more than 30,000 children and young adults in the United States. This genetic disease causes chronic lung infections and impairs digestion. Currently there is no cure.

Scientists supported by the CF Foundation are now developing several new clinical approaches to treating CF, including gene therapy studies involving people with the disease.

Our challenge is to raise research dollars through events like the Western Mass. Golf Tournament to fund this landmark research.

Join us June 9. What better way to make a difference in the lives of thousands of children and young adults battling CF than swinging the clubs at one of New England's premier golf courses.
