Date: 12/4/2014

MIAMI, Fla. – Nicholas Zwaan, Merrimack College class of 2015, has been selected to play in the National Bowl Football All-Star Game at Florida International University in Miami, FL on Dec. 7.

One-hundred of the best non-Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) college football players from around the country are confirmed for the National Bowl game.

The National Bowl game is an annual post-season college football all-star game consisting of top players from non-FBS schools. The National Bowl is the only elite non-FBS post season all-star game that sees scouts from several NFL teams along with the CFL and arena leagues. The bowl rosters are unique in that they give the NFL, CFL and additional scouts a chance to view and get to know some of the best players from smaller schools many football fans may not have heard of.

Nicholas is a former football player from Longmeadow High School and has played in every game all four years while attending Merrimack College and holds the record at Merrimack College for the most points scored by a kicker.
