SPRINGFIELD The Affiliated Chambers of Commerce of Greater Springfield, Inc. announce nominations are now being sought for the 2006 Super 60 program, an annual event that celebrates business excellence in the region. Now in its 17th year, the program celebrates the success of the fastest growing, privately owned businesses in the region, which continue to make significant contributions to the strength of the regional economy. Companies may be nominated in two categories: total revenue and revenue growth. Companies eligible for the program must be independent, privately-owned businesses, be based in either Hampden or Hampshire counties or be a member of the Affiliated Chambers of Commerce of Greater Springfield, be in business for at least three full years and produce revenues of at least $1 million in the last fiscal year. Super 60 honorees will be recognized at the Super 60 Luncheon and Recognition Program on Oct. 27 at 11:30 a.m. at Chez Josef in Agawam, sponsored by Health New England, PeoplesBank, Moriarty & Primack, PC, Webster Bank, Westfield Bank, Sovereign Bank and media sponsor WWLP 22News. The deadline for completed nominations is Aug. 25. Nomination forms are available at the Affiliated Chambers of Commerce of Greater Springfield office at 1441 Main Street, Suite 133, Springfield.
