Free Yoga

Heartsong invites community to experience yoga

Heartsong Yoga invites the community to experience the healthy practices of yoga and meditation, free for all adults high school age and above.

Heartsong offers two distinct styles of yoga, and a very traditional Buddhist style of meditation. These classes are a great way to check out the studio, meet the teachers, and try out a few different ways to reduce stress, relax the body, quiet the mind, and build strength, flexibility and balance.

On Sept. 12, at 7:30 p.m., meet Alice Barrett and try out the practice of mindfulness meditation. On Sept. 13, at 6 p.m., meet Michelle Ryan and try out an Astanga Yoga class, a hot and vigorous athletic practice for those who love a good workout. Heartsong's director Sheila Magalhaes will offer a Kripalu style "Yoga for Every-one" class on Sept. 13 at 7:30 p.m., and anyone who is curious about yoga and wants to try a gentle and stress free class is invited to join in.

Heartsong Yoga is located at 264 North Main Street, Condo East, on route 83 in East Longmeadow. Reservations are recommended, call 413-525-0720 for details, or visit the web at www.heartsongyoga.com.
