Life Begins @ 50 Expo set for June 6Date: 5/29/2014 CHICOPEE – Focusing on the interests and issues of those older than 50 years of age plan to spend the day at the Life Begins @ 50 Expo: “Plan It, Live and Enjoy It.”
The expo is offering real solutions in senior matters to the Western Massachusetts area. This expo is taking place at the Castle of Knights, 1599 Memorial Drive, on June 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The expo is free for those older than 50 years of age. The day-long event features our presenters CBS 3 Springfield, Real Oldies 1250, and Reminder Publications as well as sponsors: Alternative Health and AARP.
There will be a variety of exhibitors who are experts in the areas of finance, health insurance, fitness, healthcare facilities, vision and hearing, clinics, funeral planning, long term care insurance, eldercare assistance, assisted living, pain relief, home security, surgery needs, medical supplies, anti aging solutions, estate law and real estate, a golf course and travel services will be representing the exciting side of retirement.
Guests are asked to bring a canned food item to assist the food pantry at The Pioneer Valley USO Food Pantry at Westover Air Reserve Base.
The Life Begins @ 50 Expo can benefit everyone by providing information about what to do for themselves and their families as they reach age 50 and beyond, Bruce Marshall and Stacia Salvatore Roy, Expo producers, said.
“The goal is for guests to be educated in making important decisions that sometimes have to be made in a crisis, planning responsibly and enjoying life to its fullest no matter what the calendar says,” they added.
