| SPRINGFIELD Models of Life, a breast cancer awareness/survivor multimedia celebration at American International College, 1000 State St., will be taking place Oct. 3 from 6 to 8 p.m. This is presented by the American Cancer Society and the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Call 493-2100 to register for for more information. All are welcome! This is an exhibit of portraits, photography, paintings and essays by and for breast cancer survivors. Poet Brenda's Child will perform in memory of her mother who passed away from breast cancer, and the band for the evening will be the Heshima Project.
