EAST LONGMEADOW – Three Panera Bread Restaurants, owned and operated by PR Management Corp, are proud to announce that they helped raise and donate $20,000 to The One Fund Boston.

The cafés from Hampden County that contributed include East Longmeadow, located at 450 North Main St., West Springfield, located at 935 Riverdale St., and Chicopee, located at 601 Memorial Drive.

“Community support is part of the fabric of Panera Bread, and we want to play a role in supporting those affected by the Boston Marathon bombings,” Mitch Roberts, operating partner of PR Restaurants, LLC, said. “Nothing will turn back the clock on that day, but we can do our best to help the victims and families of this tragedy.”

In total, 32 Panera Bread Restaurants, all owned by PR Management Corp, contributed to the sum. A portion was matched by Panera Bread to equal $20,000.

The One Fund Boston was established through the generosity of businesses, foundations and individual donors.

It was created at the request of Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino and Gov. Deval Patrick. The Victim Relief Fund of The One Fund Boston will be used to assist those families of the victims who were killed and the victims who were most seriously affected as a result of the tragic events during the Boston Marathon on April 15 and related events on April 18 and 19.
