Call for contestants for the 2009 Miss Mass. Outstanding Teen pageant

Applications are now being accepted from contestants interested in competing to become Miss Massachusetts Outstanding Teen 2009. The winner will have the opportunity to compete in the sixth annual Miss America s Outstanding Teen Pageant in Orlando, Fla., on Aug. 15.

Contestants will compete in Talent, Evening Wear, On-Stage Interview, Private Interview, Scholastic and Lifestyle and Fitness categories. The winner will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship, crown, trophy, banner and other gifts and prizes. Additional awards will be given to the runners-up.

The Miss Massachusetts Outstanding Teen Pageant is open to teenagers from throughout the state, from ages 13 to 17. Contestants who are 17 must be in their junior year of high school. The deadline for entries is May 15.
