Enjoy sundaes with Santa at Eastfield Mall

SPRINGFIELD I scream, you scream, we all scream for...Santa?

On Nov. 21, Eastfield Mall invites children and their families to enjoy sundaes with Santa. Festivities in the food court begin at 5 p.m. and include a free gift for each child, train rides, face painting, balloon twisting, music and entertainment by Colby Academy of Dance.

At 6 p.m., Santa will arrive to greet and interact with the public and invite them to make their own sundae at the Dairy Queen Sundae Bar for only $1. This exciting and yummy event is great for the entire family and the perfect way to kick off the holiday season. Santa will be available for photos following the festivities at 7 p.m. in Center Court.

Photos with Santa will be available in Center Court through Dec. 24. Santa will be at Eastfield Mall Monday through Friday from noon to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Each child who visits Santa now through Dec. 24 will receive a holiday stuffed animal.

Colby Academy of Dance, located in Ware, is a family business that has been training students in a fun family atmosphere for over 50 years. Their students excel in sports and extracurricular activities including annual visits to nursing homes and hospitals where they perform during the holiday season.
