HCC offers adult learning opportunities

HOLYOKE — Ready to pursue a new career or college degree?

Holyoke Community College (HCC) and the Community Education Project will offer a free class that prepares adult learners for college.

Classes meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, Jan. 31 to May 13, and include instruction in reading, writing, basic science, math and pre-algebra, computer and study skills and assistance identifying career paths in health care and other industries that pay fair wages. Taught in English, with counseling in English or Spanish.

Applicants must be 18 or older, have a GED from any time or graduated from high school five or more years ago. Contact 552-2852 or edreyfuss@hcc.edu.
