Adoption agency presents 'Parade of Nations' multicultural fair

Wide Horizons For Children, Inc., an adoption agency located in Pittsfield will present a "Parade of Nations" multi-cultural fair on Nov. 18 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Berkshire Athenaeum in Pittsfield. In keeping with Wide Horizons For Children, Inc.'s mission to celebrate families and diversity in a multi-cultural setting, we are offering this multi-cultural event to our families and others in the community who have adopted. Event offerings will include a main stage manned by an emcee hosting 15-30 minute performances, some interactive, representing various cultures. Also there will be program specific booths offering activities that provide cultural resources, crafts and cultural decor, vendors selling items from different countries, as well as a Parade of Flags by the children. The cost of this event is $7 per adult and $5 per child.
