Raising kids bully-proof

WILBRAHAM -- Bill Corbett, author of the book "Love, Limits & Lessons" and a national speaker and trainer, will present a free parent and caregiver workshop about bullying on May 10 in the Wilbraham & Monson Alumni Memorial Chapel at 100 Main St., from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

His signature book is designed to guide adults in handling challenging behaviors, build resilient children and young adults and create a cooperative family dynamic.

In this session, Corbett presents some of the reasons children are likely to bully or be bullied and he engages the audience in some methods to use immediately to keep their children from becoming a statistic.

Corbett is a native of Western Massachusetts and and the founder and president of Cooperative Kids, a multimedia approach for parents and caregivers designed to coach adults on how best to raise cooperative children.
