Springfield PAC to host advocacy seminar

SPRINGFIELD The Springfield Parent Advisory Council, PAC, will be hosting Jeanne Troxall-Monson, educational specialist from Community Resources for People with Autism, at our Dec. 3 PAC Meeting at Central High School, 1840 Roosevelt Ave.
Basic Rights and Educational Advocacy will be the topic for this Wednesday evening program. Do you know what your child with special needs has the right to have within the educational system? Do you need information about your child's IEP? Jeanne will help us explore our rights and responsibilities within the frameworks of the special education law. Meetings begin at 6 p.m. with an hour of support time, workshop begins promptly at 7.
