ASTHMA WALK One out of every ten people in Massachusetts has problems breathing; they cannot participate in strenuous physical activity, or they use an inhaler regularly to ensure that they can breathe normally. On May 5, you are given the opportunity to help make a difference for these people. Come participate in the American Lung Association's Blow the Whistle on Asthma Walk at Forest Park in Springfield MA; you may be walking for a family member, a friend, or a co-worker. This family friendly, 5K walk helps to bring awareness and support to asthma. Asthma takes lives, and the American Lung Association needs everyone's help in controlling asthma within Massachusetts.
