Department of Public Works Director Mike Wrabel points out plugs in an abestos filled wall.
DPW Director Mike Wrabel described the employee lounge as "decrepit." All the furniture is second hand and the room is not properly insulated. Meant for up to 16 employees, Wrabel said it only comfortably holds eight.
The bricks on this garage are shifting and coming undone. Cracks were a regular theme on the outside of most of the buildings.
The wide open vehicle garages leave trucks open to the elements, which can wear out new equipment faster.
Many boards that have been used to cover previous damaged are now coming undone.
The last garage is home to the Longmeadow Parks and Recreation department.
Pigeons making a home inside one of the DPW's storage spaces. Pigeon excrement covers many of the DPW trucks which can be damaging to the paint of the vehicle.
The salt shed's walls are crumbling and both the east and west sides are being supported by telephone poles.
Located near the site's main office and generator, this building, like others on the property, has broken windows.
