Hungry Hill events

The Springfield Cultural Council will hold a meeting at the Hungry Hill Center on July 25 at 7 p.m. Residents are encouraged to attend this meeting to learn of programs, possible grants, etc. available for our community.

The Hungry Hill Senior Center's luncheon on Aug. 8 will be American chop suey, salad, garlic bread, juice, coffee/tea and dessert. The cost is $2; the meal is provided by Greater Springfield Senior Services and coffee/tea, etc. is provided by the Hungry Hill Center. Reservations are required before Aug. 1.

The Alzheimer's Association will conduct a seminar on "Legal and Financial Issues and Answers" on Aug. 10 from 10:30 a.m.-noon, at the Center, lower level of Our Lady of Hope Church. This seminar will offer information by an elder law attorney about important topics such as wills, durable power of attorney, etc. Class size is limited and pre-registration is necessary.
