The Hampden Senior Center, closed due to budget cuts on July 1, 2005, reopened quietly on July 5, 2006. An official grand re-opening celebration is planned for this week. One group that resumed meeting at the Center last week was the Trivia Group. Matti Nichols, center, tested the brainpower of longtime trivia group members, from left, Marsho Wills, Tiny Burt, Pat MacKinnon and Betty D'Agostino. The group had been meeting at member Kathleen Flynn's home every Wednesday morning for the past year.
