Rebecca DeSanti of Hampden competed July 10 through 20 at the Adidas National Volleyball Tournament at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, HI. Players from across the U.S. comprised 12 teams -- DeSanti was chosen as captain of her team which had girls from Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Washington, South Dakota, New York, Texas, Arizona and Tennessee. The team finished third in pool play and played in group A for the medal round. DeSanti was chosen MVP of her team and placed fifth in an individual jump serving contest.
