EASTHAMPTON – The Emily Williston Memorial Library hosts Curbside Crafts to Go for kids every second and fourth Friday of the month from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Youth and Teen Librarian-Supervisor Moira Cranshaw said this is a program she ran during the summer reading and it was successful, so since there cannot be in-person activities, she wanted to make it to-go.
Cranshaw said supplies are limited to the first 25 people. It is first-come-first-serve and no pre-registration is required. Cranshaw explained she likes to provide crafts that have limited instructions because she likes kids to create something creative for themselves.
On the first Friday of every month, Cranshaw has DIY crafts for teenagers as well. Supplies are limited to 15 and it is also first-come-first-serve with no pre-registration required. They can be picked up from 2:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. These crafts for teens are a bit more independent, said Cranshaw.
The crafts can be picked up at the front of the library by calling 527-1031 and letting them know that you are there for Curbside Crafts to Go. No library card is required.
Cranshaw said this event will be offered through the end of the year. If people wish to donate crafts or money to the library they are welcome to by contacting the library at 527-1031.
