HUNTINGTON – The Westfield River Watershed Association and the Western Mass Fly Fishermen Club (WMFF) co-sponsored a fly fishing clinic Aug. 24 along the Westfield River in Huntington. A couple of dozen people of all ages watched a Westfield State biologist collect river larvae, practiced the art of casting a fly rod, and learned how to tie flies from anglers eager to pass on their knowledge. Watershed president Bill Conz was happy with the turnout for the annual event.
