Otis ballot has two contested races, no moderator candidates

OTIS – Ten positions will be up for a vote in Otis town election on May 24. Voting will take place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Town Hall, 1 N. Main Rd., Otis.

Incumbent Larry Southard is the lone candidate on the ballot for Board of Selectmen for a three-year term.

Town Clerk Lyn O’Brien is seeking re-election for a three-year term in an uncontested race.

The town moderator has no officially declared candidates for a one-year term.

John Conboy is seeking re-election for a one-year term as tree warden.

Lynn Jablonski is seeking a seat on the Finance Board in an uncontested race for a three-year term.

Board of Assessors is one of two contested races, with Russell Loring seeking re-election against Jill Moretz for a three-year term.

Cemetery Commissioner Bruce Wall is seeking re-election for a three-year term in an uncontested race.

Library Trustee Susan Bauer-Brofman is seeking re-election in an uncontested race for a three-year term.

Planning Board member Harold Kobrin is seeking re-election in a contested race against Teresa Cook-Visser for a five-year term.

School Committee member Deborah Fogel is seeking re-election for a three-year term.
