| Our legislators in Boston have voted to override Gov. Romney's veto of the $31 million for the Rose Kennedy gardens in Boston. Could someone please tell me why we as taxpayers are funding gardens over the Big Dig in honor of a woman whose estate was settled in Florida to avoid paying the Massachusetts estate tax? Shouldn't these gardens be in Florida paid for by Floridians if Rose Kennedy lived there long enough to have her estate settled there at Florida's tax rate? Linda Fitzgerald East Longmeadow |
