Fundraiser Signage Theft a Shame

Date: 9/22/2009

As Festival Chairman for the Fall Family Music Festival 2009 to be held Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009 at center field in East Longmeadow, I had to let the public know what has taken place in this fine town we live in. I feel bad that 25 signs which advertised the single biggest fundraiser for our children were stolen from various places in town. It's a shame that the hard work of the volunteers and money from donations were wasted in this theft. The person who did this act should think hard who you are hurting (the children of the East Longmeadow school district). Hopefully the townspeople will help support this event by attending on Sunday, Oct. 4 at Centerfield. This fundraiser has donated over $60,000 in the first three years it was held directly to the children of East Longmeadow.
