What have we come to? We have a man in the White House who is no more deserving of the esteemed title of President of the United States than his two closest friends and allies – Putin and Kim.
I’m so tired of hearing the comment that, “My investments are doing well and that's all that matters.” Apparently things that don’t matter are that he is the world’s greatest liar: that he is openly racist and misogynistic, that he has offended just about every ally that we have in the world; that he claims that every media piece is “fake news” unless it supports him totally.
Does it not matter that he spends more time tweeting demeaning messages than he spends telling the truth? Does it matter that every person he appoints is by far the best and brightest person until they disagree with him and ultimately resign their position? Has there ever been an administration that was beleaguered by various legal allegations on a daily basis?
Does anyone remember a President who never admitted that he was wrong or accepted responsibility for anything that didn't work out well but chose to blame everyone else including his predecessors for such things?
I could go on and on about the “Teflon Don” but it is unnecessary. Where are the Republican Party members who are supposed to be representing us but choose to follow him like sheep? This is not a Republican Party that we have seen before.
I am convinced that Tsar Trump's goal is to move us from democracy to dictatorship by ignoring the Constitution, the Supreme Court and all of our intelligence agencies. When a dictator takes over a country he paints the media as the “enemy of the people” and eventually takes control of free speech, and he then takes the education system apart. He has already done his part by calling media outlets that disagree with him fake and liars and by putting Ms. DeVos in as his Secretary of Education. He is a despicable man and an embarrassment to this country and all that it used to stand for. Lock him up!
