| This letter is to express our appreciation and show our support for the teachers and staff of Central High School. As we all know, the teachers in the city are in a struggle over numerous contractual issues. As parents and taxpayers we urge the Control Board, Mayor, Superintendent of Schools, City Council, School Committee, and SEA to come to a favorable resolution of the contract, immediately. Our children are the future of this city. It is imperative their education not be compromised by continued contract disputes. The students of Central High School are being adversely affected at a time when they should be focusing on their future. Our children are entitled to an education not compromised by politics.
