Withdrawing from selectmen’s race

Date: 4/28/2016

In light of the demands of my law practice and other professional commitments, I have found it necessary to reconsider my candidacy as democratic nominee for the Board of Selectmen for the town of Wilbraham. I have concluded that in good conscience I simply do not have the time necessary to devote to do the kind of job the Democratic Committee and the citizens of Wilbraham would expect of me in terms of both the campaign and, if elected, discharging the responsibilities of being a member of the Board of Selectmen.

Accordingly, with regret, I am withdrawing my name for consideration as a candidate for the Board of Selectmen. I have been advised by the town clerk, however, that my name will remain on the ballot, so I would alert you to that situation in light of the foregoing.

It certainly is an honor to have been nominated and hopefully I will be in a position to serve in some capacity with the town over the course of the next several years.
