Springfield Astros win championship to cap undefeated season

SPRINGFIELD – The Springfield Astros won the Western Massachusetts Amateur Baseball Congress Mickey Mantle State Championship and the John L. Sullivan League, going 28-0 during the regular season and playoffs.

The team is made of players from Cathedral High School, Springfield Central High School, Chicopee High School, Holyoke High School, Minnechaug Regional High School, and Springfield High School of Science and Technology.
