SPRINGFIELD The American Red Cross along with family and friends of Craig Anthony Campbell are hosting the eighth annual blood drive in his memory at St. Cecilia’s Church, 42 Main St., Wilbraham on Jan. 9 from noon to 6 p.m. Campbell lost his life in a car accident in 2004 when he was 21 years old. His family has hosted a blood drive in his memory every year since his passing. In the seven years Campbell’s drive has taken place, 582 units of blood have been collected. This year the family hopes to reach 600 units of lifesaving blood collected in Campbell’s memory.
All presenting donors will have a chance to win a pair of lift tickets to Jiminy Peak. All presenting donors will also receive a coupon for a free pound of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee.
