Find out what to expect at your very first gynecologic visit
Mothers and their daughters (or young ladies without their mothers) are invited to an open house on Oct. 22 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at 281 Maple St. in East Longmeadow.
Physician Assistant Sonia Krotkov will deliver information regarding what to expect on our first gynecologic visit and the benefits of the HPV vaccine.
Included will be a tour of the facilities with a chance for young ladies to ask questions and to have them answered in a gentle, yet instructional format.
Krotkov has been working with adolescent girls for the last 15 years and understands the difficulties and fears associated with coming of age. She also has been involved in the research and development of the HPV vaccine, Gardasil.
Dr. Robert Howe, MD, FACOG will be on hand to answer questions mothers may have.
Refreshments will be served and a free gift bag will be given. Please call Dr. Howe's office at 525-5160 to register.
